Every man has its own way how their house would look like. Each one of them has different likes and dislikes on how the style, color and shape of their house would be. They wanted to put some elegant designs and add some textures on it, so that it would look attractive and a convenient way to live. Since every one of us has its own choices, therefore we can have a place according to our needs.

Every interior design we want in our home signifies as an art of human expression. It’s up to them how they would fill their house with different furniture with a variety of styles, shapes and color. With the texture of the furniture, it conveys different meanings. While some believe in what the so called Feng Shui which is a belief we acquired from the Chinese people. Where indeed they had their own way of arranging things in different parts of your house, the direction of windows and doors where the wind flows. There must be coordination with an element and the height, color, light and space must work together to produce an ambience of peace and solitude. Also their beliefs are more particular in interior designing. However, to whatever designs we prefer, it is in us how we make our life a better way of living.

With the different styles in interior designing, it also reflects the personality of the person living with it. The status of life reflects everything in every detail of the house. In addition, every design has its own convenience. There must be a balance of style ad utility. To most of us, whatever the kind of place and the beauty that possesses in our house, it is more important to have a clean surrounding. Regardless of the theme of the place, as long as it is clean. It’s beautiful. Cleanliness marks the language of all houses. And it will always reflect to every person living on it and everything else will tell you.

Nowadays, technology gives us the knowledge to enhance our skills in designing and also to provide us the information that may boost up in the field of designing.. For some reason, we begin to permeate our lives with the designs we never imagine just a few years ago, making it possible to create a modernize the interior design that we view from our home. For this idea provides us the most opportunities and will help to change the world of interior design as what we know it today.

Today, the world has changed. Comparing the world from history and now, many would better much choose to live with the world before. Growing population of the human kind has brought chaos and disunity. It has hungered for many and has belittled a lot. In every little thing, we do there are always consequences no matter how minor they are that would continue to haunt us but in a way would be a very helpful eye opener for each of us to think, understand and do. Among the discrepancies man has made today are divorces, pollution and graft and corruption. They may be somewhat little things to many, but it should not be ignored. Ignoring such may improve the severity of the situation at hand. It may further destroy the world not to mention the ties between man and man, and the ties between man and nature. Instead of working together  in a world full of despair, man would meet quarrels with man and nature would bring about calamities that even man are not prepared of. Not taking care of the world around us would trigger consequences in the end. It would bring about chaos and destruction. This may be the downfall of the human kind.

Marriage has been a tradition of man in history and up to the present and would continue on to the future. Marriage is the unity of two beings giving them the authority of living with each other and spending the rest of their time with love and satisfaction making them a family to nurture and protect. However, nowadays, marriage is abused. Some would not even think about the true meaning of marriage. They have forgotten the true essence of marriage and have just used this for lust and fame. Because of that, divorce has made known to man. Through divorce, the bond between the two individuals who underwent marriage will be broken and be made null and void. This would signify that the couple could not co-exist with one another and that frequent quarreling lead to the abovementioned agreement. It is sad to think and ponder that marriage is just played by people who think at first they could co-exist with one another. There is no love in this picture. Marriage is supposed to be experienced by a couple who would love one another and swear it to God the Almighty. Divorcing would be breaking the rules and breaking your promise to God. It is one way of saying that man is indeed never contented.

Corruption is common to political entities of this time. It has also been present from the past. However, in comparison, the corruption nowadays is much more intense in comparison to the past. People could not be satisfied of what they have. They would always learn to cheat and do things the easy way not knowing that by doing such many are affected by these said actions and faults. It is never right to cheat. Even in tests, students cheat to get a high score and pass a test. However, then again, in the end, they will have their own set of downfalls.

Pollution is triggered by man as he throws garbage anywhere. As many have noticed, it is much hotter nowadays because of the depletion of the ozone layer. Many wouldn’t care to think of throwing their garbage at the right place and protect Mother Earth. They couldn’t care much less, to even clean their surroundings. People nowadays are really careless and now, Mother Earth has a say bringing in typhoons, earthquakes, giving birth to calamities.

People should stop and think. Are the things they are doing right for the community? Will this be beneficial to the country and to the world? A person is indeed never contented but is it too much to ask to tame oneself not only for you but also for others. Doing so will bring about a brighter future not for us but for the next generations to come.

With our simple ways, we can help our environment. This would include the following:

• Reuse or recycle papers to help save trees. When you have papers, which are scratched for you, or papers that can still be written on the back, reuse them for your additional notes, shopping lists, or even you can use it as coloring sheets. Use cloth napkins instead of paper ones
• Please try to avoid buying plastics. It’s hard to recycle. However, we could still reuse them by using them to put your trashes at home.
• To your old clothes, give them to the charity shops or boxes. With this you are helping people, and you would also make them glad.
• Turn off the lights when you’re not using it. Use less energy. You can buy compact fluorescents to replace that energy common in most homes. If you are using your computer, turn off the monitor if you are going to be away from it for a while. For your portable radio, make sure it’s plugged in when you are indoors and not using batteries. Using batteries might save a little on your bill, but they are not good for the environment.
• Use a bicycle or walk in short destinations instead of using your cars. Reducing our dependence on fossil fuels would also reduce air pollutants that are increasing the problem of global warming. Walking and using a bicycle is also a good exercise.
• Don’t waste water. Even a little drip can waste lots of water. When using the sink be sure that you have turned it off. If your tap leaks, replace it immediately. To reduce the amount of water needed per flush, you can put a brick in your toilet tank.
• Do not use chemical fertilizers, pesticides in your garden. The toxic chemicals can enter  your streams, ponds or even in your drinking water. These pesticides don’t just kill the bad insects but this would also kill the beneficial insects and creates health problems for humans. Leave grass clippings on the yard, they decompose and return nutrients to the soil.
• Do not litter. Do not throw your garbage’s anywhere but help others by picking up trash and throwing it to the proper place.
• Invite people to do something to help the environment every day.

What has happened to our political world anyway? As early as during the election period, a potential candidate persuasively talks about a promising program and gives speeches about future plans for the benefit of all. While some  hold rallies and fund raising campaigns just to convince and woo the voting public that they are worth the position they are seeking for. However, it is after they are elected that they forget their electorate, run after the money and power and slowly turn their backs on those glibly promises. Hence, this is one of the main reasons why several of us don’t even bother to vote.

It is not surprising to know that money and power changes everything as well as reverses decisions in mysterious ways because unfortunately, those in power often have a mind-set that they are in authority and above the law. They let money do the talking. The higher the bribe, the more chances of placing a policy or decision into their hands leaving the helpless public watching the whole game clueless with the reasons why a policy was even formulated in the first place. Does this mean that our elected politicians are just very good liars covering up a secret agenda as evidenced by treacherous acts and lavishly spending entrusted funds for their own personal advantage? If so, the people are the ones affected since they don’t get to say their part and their important issues are not anymore addressed.

Qualifications of a good politician

There is a big distinction between leading the people and manipulating them.  Leading means directing the community to achieve a unified goal while manipulating is just an unselfish act. Therefore, a good political leader should lead and not manipulate the people.

Although the educational excellence of a political candidate can be an added bonus to their credentials and to the perception of the people, there are some attributes, which cannot be achieved with educational qualifications alone. There is no way that education degrees measure one’s character desired with qualifications such as honesty, dedication, hard work and most importantly, strength of character that cannot be groomed with any impressive academic qualifications. These are the things that a voter needs to look for in a politician.

In fact, corruption issues are more rampant and at their worst cases with degree holders.  Probably, because these educated people though not all, tend to be more clever and dishonest, since they learn things fast due to their educational level. Thus, it is right to say that for as long as a politician is putting his best for the betterment of the country and its people, then probably, it makes them a worthy choice of our votes.

Politics and business

Politics and Business are often linked to each other because they actually are analogous in various ways. Here are a few uncanny similarities:

• The need to win. In politics, in order not to be forgotten, you need to win the election. In business, for you to stay in the industry, you must earn the loyalty of your customers and beat your competitors.
• The need to reach out. In politics, you must utilize multiple methods to reach out to every voter while in business; you must make use of multiple marketing strategies and program to reach out to every customer.
• The need to convince. In politics, you have to convince the voters to cast a vote on you because you are the best candidate, whereas in business, you have to convince your customers that your product is the best among the rest.
• The need to gather information. In politics, the need to canvass an area about the voters is done while in business, the need to gathering information in a locale for a possible target market is also made.
• The need to campaign. In politics, you need to campaign to get yourself noticed by people. In business, you need to campaign to attract customers with your product.

Voting is a privilege and it shouldn’t be taken for granted because your vote determines what kind of leaders, we will all have. So instill in your minds a sense of responsibility to vote wisely.
